Movehappy’s Pilates Matwork classes are run by our Clinical Exercise Physiologist in 8 week blocks in an intimate setting of 4 students per class. Our classes focus on building muscular strength from a base level and up in order to achieve correct technique in a safe environment with a focus on mobility, core strength, posture and fitness. Our Pilates classes allow for a seamless transition from the clinic to daily living with each exercise being tailored specifically to the clients in the class. We understand that one size does not fit all particularly in terms of exercise.
As such, our classes are suitable for a range of conditions and pathologies including but not limited to: injury prevention, lower back pain, injury rehabilitation, pelvic floor problems, postural issues, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, stress and athletes.
