Meet Our Exercise Physiologist
Brayden Smith – Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Brayden grew up in Tasmania and moved to Canberra in 2013 to complete his studies at the University of Canberra. While completing his Bachelor of exercise physiology and rehabilitation, he was working as a personal trainer and swim coach at the Australian institute of sport. Following the completion of his bachelor degree he then went on to complete his honours in exercise physiology.
Brayden has a background in swim coaching and has previously competed in hockey, sailing, surf lifesaving and outrigger canoe paddling. This has resulted in him having a great understanding of biomechanics and the treatment of sporting injuries, particularly injuries of the shoulders and lower back. Brayden prides himself on using evidence-based practice and has a lot to offer for any patients, from elite athletes to children and the elderly.
