Most orthopaedic rehabilitation starts the day after surgery and involves a gradual but progressive strengthening program that your practitioner will oversee with particular emphasis on stability and then general strength. Further to this, manual therapy will improve movement, reduce pain, and in the process restore form so that you can get back to a normal level of function.
